Premiere "ROMEO AND JULIET" - Timisoara

The premiere of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare, in a classic staging directed by Toma Enache, takes place on 2 November 2026 at 19:00, at the Romanian National Opera in Timișoara. The production, signed by director Toma Enache and producer Pepino Popescu, uses 8 projection screens and 3 video projectors, nearly 50 period costumes, set design by Alina Dincă Pușcașu, decor by Maria Dore and video design by Silviu Apostol. The cast includes Andrei Neagoe (Romeo), Ioana Brumar/Gia Tițoiu (Juliet), Monica Davidescu, Aurelian Temișan, Ovidiu Cuncea, Adrian Nartea, Teodora Calagiu, Marius Rizea, Cosmin Vîjeu, Dan Istrate, Emanuel Varga, Radu Bănică, Ștefan Pîrnuș and Silviu Oltean.
