The LA PAS / Slowing Down festival reaches its sixth edition and takes place between 9 and 11 October 2026 at the French Institute in Romania in Timișoara, organised by the CRIES Association. Over three days, the event brings together local producers, chefs, farmers, researchers and artists around the theme of the future of food, with a shared opening meal, the "Living Library of Food" (small-group conversations), educational workshops, a fair with local producers and craftspeople, as well as artistic projects on climate change and food.
Admission is free, thanks to the support of funders and partners. The project is part of the "Repere în cultură" programme, funded by the Timișoara Municipality through the Centrul de Proiecte, with the French Institute in Romania in Timișoara and Visit Timiș as strategic partners.
