Timișoara – 25 Hours of Non-Stop Theatre (16th edition)

The independent theatre festival "25 Hours of Non-Stop Theatre" reaches its 16th edition in Timișoara, on the first weekend of October, with 20 events in 12 venues around the city, for all ages. The edition opens on 3 October at 7:00 pm at Casa Tineretului with "Născut în '90", and the highlight is "Lalele, păsări și beton" (REACTOR Cluj, a double nominee at the UNITER Awards), scheduled for Sunday, 4 October at 5:00 pm at the Main Hall of the Hungarian Theatre; the festival closes with "MANTAS" (Bis Teatru).

Timișoara's independent theatre scene is represented by the companies Basca, C4Company, Punct și Virgulă and Thespis, with shows at midnight or at 4 in the morning, while the actors of FF Theatre București present "Tavanul de sticlă". For children there will be "Povești africane 2", and Fabrica de Teatru brings shows for teenagers.
