Balkan Ballerinas - ÎNTÂLNIRI ÎN PANTĂ Festival. Chapter FACTORY RESET

Balkan Ballerinas is a performance by Platforma 13, presented on the seventh day of the ÎNTÂLNIRI ÎN PANTĂ Festival. Chapter FACTORY RESET. It takes place on 8 October 2026, at 8:00 pm, at Hala C4C (16 Decembrie 1989 Boulevard no. 43). The show questions the boundaries of the body through the lens of Eastern European and Balkan identity, starting from the stigmas and stereotypes projected by the West onto the Balkans. The body is seen as a zone of transition between pride and shame, past and present, folklore and rave, ballet and manele, drawing on the concepts of Balkanism and post-communism.

Admission is free, upon registration via the form forms.gle/KZdLX1HKP5n8TjRL6. Project funded by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Timișoara Projects Centre. More details: www.facebook.com/events/1099997469272957
