The opening of the work-in-progress exhibition "A Water and an Earth" takes place on 24 October at Indecis artist-run-space. Visitors can follow how images selected from the online environment are transformed, through a slow and laborious process, into drawings made in numerous layers of coloured pencil, the drawing acting as a critical tool for slowing down the pace at which we consume today's images and visual information.
The works will be displayed, alongside sketches, documentation materials and excerpts from the artist's research notebook. Admission is free; the creation was made possible through an Energie! Creation Grant, awarded by the Timișoara City Hall, through the Centre for Projects.
