The "ClarObscur" event proposes a reflection on the perception of the past through photography, through an exhibition of glass-plate images made by the Timișoara doctor Ludwig Diel, an amateur photographer around the time of the First World War, and a photography and developing workshop led by artist Theophil Soltesz, using the interwar Görlitz camera belonging to the Muzeul Presei. The opening and the workshop take place on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, from 19:00, at Galleria 28 in Timișoara and at the Atelierul Non-Formal de Planificare Spațială respectively; Ludwig Diel's photographs remain on display until 15 October.
The event is curated by Cristina Dema and Theophil Soltesz, and organised by Galleria 28 and the Muzeul Presei «Sever Bocu», in partnership with the Atelierul Non-Formal de Planificare Spațială and Key Light Studio. Details: www.facebook.com/events/1394101812349408
