Tranzit ro/ Iaşi, 25 Sf. Atanasie Street, Iaşi, presents the exhibition "Postcards from Mars" by artist Cristina David, open from 2 October to 2 November 2026. An artist talk takes place on Friday, 2 October, at 16:00, and the exhibition can be visited from 18:00, as part of the White Night of Art Galleries Iaşi 2026 (Friday and Saturday 18:00-00:00, Sunday 16:00-22:00); after 5 October, visits are by appointment only.
The exhibition presents, for the first time in Romania, the complete video works produced by the artist as part of the project "Artists as Agents of Institutional Exchange" (2015), a joint initiative of tranzit ro/ Iaşi and Skaftfell Art Center in Iceland, including the series "Postcards from Mars" and "Footage of a Thought", streamed live on Facebook in 2015. The event is organised by 1+1 Association and tranzit ro/ Iaşi, co-financed by AFCN, free entry.
