The Stag King

The play "The Stag King", by Carlo Gozzi, translated by N. Al. Toscani and directed by Tudor Lucanu, takes place on 29 September, from 7:00 pm, at the "Lucian Blaga" National Theatre. The story follows King Deramo, searching for true love with the help of a magic machine, who chooses Angela, the minister Pantalone's daughter, but is betrayed by the treacherous Tartaglia, who steals his identity using one of the king's magic secrets. The performance, in the style of Commedia dell'Arte, lasts 1h 40 min, is recommended for all ages, and tickets are available on the theatre's website.
