The show “The Maestro and the Măiastra” takes place on 6 October, at 19:00, at the Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca. The original piece tells the love story between Maria Tănase and Constantin Brâncuși, blending live music, dialogue, poetic interludes and visual projections inspired by Brâncuși's work, with “Bird in Space” as its central symbol. The cast includes Sorin Lupu (Constantin Brâncuși), Iulia Merca (Maria Tănase), Daria Marin, Sara Stan, Gyenge Zoltán Balázs and Noémi Veres, alongside dancers from the “Mărțișorul” Student Folk Ensemble and Attitude Dance Studio, accompanied by the ArtFest Romance Orchestra under the baton of pianist and conductor Péter Kolcsár; artistic direction is by Ina Hudea.
