Preview: HIDDEN STORIES IN PAINTINGS X MATISSE

On 2 October, from 7:00 pm, at MINA Cluj (Strada Orăștiei no. 10), a preview takes place of two immersive art shows joining the museum's programme, accompanied by a live concert by Trio Strings, three young musicians nationally awarded from the Cluj-Napoca Music College, on violin and cello. "Hidden stories in paintings" blends the worlds of Henri Rousseau, Max Ernst, Frida Kahlo and Maria Sibylla Merian into a single universe, while "Matisse – The Immersive Show" follows the artist's journey from grey to an explosion of colour, through war, illness and reinvention.
