Workshop for specialists | Introduction to the practice of clinical hypnosis

The Institute for the Study and Treatment of Trauma is organising, from 7 to 9 October 2026, at the ISTT headquarters in Bucharest, an introductory workshop on the practice of clinical hypnosis, aimed at mental health professionals: certified clinical psychologists and psychotherapists, psychiatrists (for adults or children) and professionals from the socio-educational and mental health fields. The workshop, delivered entirely in English by Dr Gérard Fitoussi (president of the European Society of Hypnosis and of the French Hypnosis Association) and Bogdan Pavlovici, MD, PhD (paediatric psychiatrist, Versailles Hospital), covers the theoretical foundations of hypnosis, induction and deepening techniques, communication in a hypnotic context, professional ethics and relaxation and concentration methods.

It is the first of two COPSI-credited modules, totalling 50 hours of training, and the credits (50 COPSI) are awarded only upon completion of both modules; the daily schedule is 09:00-18:30 on 7-8 October and 09:00-18:00 on 9 October.
