SUMMARY:Workshop for specialists | Introduction to the practice of clinical
  hypnosis
DESCRIPTION:The Institute for the Study and Treatment of Trauma is organisi
 ng\, from 7 to 9 October 2026\, at the ISTT headquarters in Bucharest\, an
  introductory workshop on the practice of clinical hypnosis\, aimed at men
 tal health professionals: certified clinical psychologists and psychothera
 pists\, psychiatrists (for adults or children) and professionals from the 
 socio-educational and mental health fields. The workshop\, delivered entir
 ely in English by Dr Gérard Fitoussi (president of the European Society o
 f Hypnosis and of the French Hypnosis Association) and Bogdan Pavlovici\, 
 MD\, PhD (paediatric psychiatrist\, Versailles Hospital)\, covers the theo
 retical foundations of hypnosis\, induction and deepening techniques\, com
 munication in a hypnotic context\, professional ethics and relaxation and 
 concentration methods. It is the first of two COPSI-credited modules\, tot
 alling 50 hours of training\, and the credits (50 COPSI) are awarded only 
 upon completion of both modules\; the daily schedule is 09:00-18:30 on 7-8
  October and 09:00-18:00 on 9 October. Registration is open until 15 Septe
