AlkotóTér – Create your own experience! - details of Saturday's programme

AlkotóTér is holding a series of workshops for families on Saturday, 26 September, in Piața Libertății, Timișoara. Between 10:00 and 13:00 the Dorkász sewing-Bible circle takes place, where mothers can hand-craft a tea mug, along with a workshop on making a "hand owl" with textile artist Márkus Bíró Anita. Between 10:00 and 17:00 there is a Play and Creation House with craft workshops and board games, run by teachers from Bartók Béla Theoretical High School, as well as "In the footsteps of old crafts", where children can try felting (Sass Boglárka), basket weaving (Bartók Boglárka) and wood/rope carving (Barta Gábor, Molnár Rozália).

During the same interval, the team from the Roman Catholic Theological High School Gerhardinum offers colouring, gluing, painting and bead-stringing activities, and the Ethnographic Museum offers a playful journey into the world of old objects and traditions.
