Placinte-n foi, Gogoși de soi și Merinde pentru Voi

The festival "Plăcinte-n foi, gogoși de soi și merinde pentru voi" takes place on 2, 3 and 4 October 2026 in Parcul Expoziției in Copou, Iași, with free admission. The programme includes pies (poale-n brâu and pies filled with cheese, apples, pumpkin, cabbage or potatoes), doughnuts, pastrami, mititei, sausages, skewers and dishes cooked in the cauldron, as well as traditional produce and provisions.

Cooking demonstrations and shows, music and the festival's biggest pie have been announced. At the children's workshops, the little ones knead their own dough, prepare their own pies, watch them bake and can taste them at the end.
