On 30 September, from 18:00, AML Romania is organising at Fab Lab Iași – Fab Central (Anastasie Panu street no. 27) a session on the impact of artificial intelligence on AML activity, together with guest Valentin Latcan, a Risk & Compliance specialist with experience in Financial Crime, Transaction Monitoring, AML/CFT and fintech compliance, including at ING Hubs Romania and Ebury. The discussion will cover AI in Transaction Monitoring, AI in KYC/KYB, AI as a 'copilot' for the AML analyst, the impact of AI on jobs in the field, as well as the question of who will use AI more effectively - financial institutions or criminals.
