Book launch | The Women of Sfântu Gheorghe | Cărturești Cluj

On Friday, 9 October 2026, from 6:00 pm, at Cărturești Casa Hintz in Cluj-Napoca (Strada Regele Ferdinand 1), the launch takes place of the volume "Femeile din Sfântu Gheorghe: Povești de viață, tradiții și lumina care nu se stinge" ("The Women of Sfântu Gheorghe: Life Stories, Traditions and the Light That Never Fades"), written by Andreea Mosila and Mira Bălan. The book brings together twelve life stories of women from the village of Sfântu Gheorghe, in the Danube Delta, based on interviews and field research about family, traditions, work, faith and the community's transformations over the past century.
