Cluj-Napoca Meetup | Home Assistant Community Day

The first Open Home Foundation Community Day meetup in Romania takes place on 7 November 2026, from 11:00 am, at SmartHome360 Lab (Tehnolemn building, Str. Câmpina 62-64, 2nd floor, on the right), organised by the Smart Home – Romania Association, with SmartHome360 as main sponsor. The programme includes a presentation of the Open Home Foundation and a tour of a real Home Assistant installation (11:30), show & tell sessions from community members (12:00), lunch break and networking (13:00), a hands-on ESPHome workshop on flashing an ESP32 and integrating a sensor into Home Assistant (13:45), a quiz and raffle (15:15), and a close at 16:00.

Participants are invited to bring a laptop for the workshop and any device they'd like to show or ask about; discussions will be in Romanian, with support in English. Admission is free, but registration is mandatory and places are limited: luma.com/1q5pu4by. Photos and videos will be taken during the event; those who do not wish to appear can let the organisers know at the entrance. Optionally, participants can also visit the nearby SmartHome360 showroom.
