The lyrical show "Carmen – Eterna" takes place on 3 October 2026, from 7:30pm, at Cinema "Florin Piersic" in Cluj-Napoca, with translation, adaptation and direction by arch. Catalin I. Arbore and the show format created by Ciprian Pahonea. The cast includes: Adina Papadimas (Carmen), Paul Celmare (Don José), Miruna Iancu (Micaela), Cristian Ruja (Escamillo), Cristina Chitimia (Frasquita), Alexandrina Stan (Mercedes), Ciprian Pahonea (Remendado), Fabian Mereuta (Dancairo) and Alexandru Grajdeanu (Zuniga).
This is the opera by Georges Bizet, libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy after the novella by Prosper Mérimée, set in Seville, around the tragedy of the soldier Don José in love with the gypsy Carmen; the show lasts 2 hours, without an interval, and is performed in French with Romanian supertitles.
