ALEXANDRU FĂRCAȘ INTERNATIONAL VOCAL COMPETITION

The Alexandru Fărcaș International Vocal Competition, held from 23 to 27 September 2026 on Bucium Street no. 2 in Cluj-Napoca, is a platform dedicated to young lyric singers – undergraduate, master's and doctoral students – who compete before a prestigious jury. The competition aims to develop vocal, technical and interpretative skills, to promote the universal and Romanian lyric repertoire, and to foster the exchange of experience between higher education institutions from Romania and abroad, while also being open to Cluj's music-loving public.
