Amphitrio launches the EP "Traces" in a concert at Atelier Cafe on 15 October 2026, from 21:00. The band returns to Cluj after winning, this year at the Jazz in the Park Competition, 2nd place, the prize for Best Romanian Band and the one for Outstanding Musician (Mike Alex, bass). The EP opens a new chapter, with contemporary jazz, atmospheric textures, Balkan rhythms, electronics and groove.
Amphitrio is a contemporary jazz project started in 2023, with Andrei Petrache on keys, Mike Alex on bass and Philip Goron on drums. The trio has released the albums "Points" and "Seasons" (2023) and "Timelines" (2024), named Album of the Year by Radio România Cultural, and went on the international tour "What Freedom Sounds Like" in October–November 2024, co-funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
