ZARAZA - treasures of Romanian music with tenor ŞTEFAN von KORCH and baritone ADRIAN MĂRCAN

The concert "Zaraza – treasures of Romanian music", with tenor Ștefan von Korch and baritone Adrian Mărcan, takes place on 27 November 2026 at 19:00, at the Constantin Tănase Revue Theatre in Bucharest, as part of the Musical Extravaganza season, artistically directed by Ștefan von Korch. The programme brings together interwar songs, doinas, haiduc songs and arias from beloved Romanian operettas, such as "Zaraza", "Of, inimioară", "Bagă, Doamne, luna-n nor" and "Sărmane lăutar", accompanied on piano by Alexandru Mihai Burcă.

Guests who have appeared in previous editions of the season include sopranos Oana Maria Șerban, Cristina Maria Oltean and Daniela Bucșan, tenors Alin Stoica, George Vîrban, Mihai Urzicana and Andrei Mihalcea, baritones Adrian Mărcan, Lucian Petrean and Fang Shuang, as well as baritone Alexandru Constantin, with a repertoire including roles from Carmen, La Bohème, Don Giovanni, Faust, La Traviata and Eugene Onegin.
