Workshop for specialists | Suicidal risk in adolescence - assessment & intervention

The Institute for the Study and Treatment of Trauma is organising, on 23-24 October 2026, at the ISTT headquarters in Bucharest (Giacomo Puccini 8A), the workshop "Suicidal risk in adolescence – assessment & intervention", aimed at specialists who work with children and adolescents (psychologists, educators, counsellors, teachers, doctors, social workers, foster carers, parents). The programme runs on Friday and Saturday, between 09:30 and 18:00, with meal and coffee breaks, totalling 8 hours of theoretical training and 8 hours of practical skills training, credited by COPSI with 16 professional credits.

The topics cover understanding the phenomenon of suicide among adolescents, risk assessment, stabilisation and intervention techniques, working with the family and school, as well as postvention after suicide, and the trainer is Monica Lespezanu, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist.
