NATIONAL BACKGAMMON TOURNAMENT 2026

The second edition of the National Backgammon Tournament takes place on 21-22 November 2026 at Sala Floreasca in Bucharest, with an entry ticket of 200 lei plus fees and a limited number of 512 players. Matches are played in a best-of-three format, from the preliminary rounds through to the grand final, and the top 8 finishers receive prizes: 6,000 euros for 1st place, a trip to Barcelona for 2 people for 2nd place, a year's supply of Amstel beer for 3rd place, and consolation prizes for places 4-8.
