RONDÒ VENEZIANO, IN ABSOLUTE PREMIERE IN ROMANIA, 15 November, Romanian Athenaeum

On 15 November 2026, from 8:00 pm, the Romanian Athenaeum hosts, in absolute premiere in Romania, the Rondò Veneziano concert, an ensemble officially formed in 1980 from an idea by producer Freddy Naggiar and maestro Gian Piero Reverberi – composer, arranger, conductor and pianist. The repertoire consists exclusively of original compositions by Reverberi, rooted in the Venetian Baroque, in a style now described as Classical Pop, at the border between tradition and modernity.

The core of the orchestra comprises nine musicians (three violins, a viola, a cello, a flute, an oboe, a double bass and percussion), joined live by an extended orchestra, two keyboards and timpani, with the musicians dressed in period costumes; the group released albums annually between 1980 and 1995, then at longer intervals until 2002.
