INVITATION TO THE WALTZ – a ball fantasy in dance steps

On 6 November 2026, at 7:00 pm, the Savoy Hall of the "Constantin Tănase" Revue Theatre hosts the show "Invitation to the Waltz – a ball fantasy in dance steps", part of the Musical Extravaganza season. Tenor Ștefan von Korch, host and artistic coordinator of the season, and soprano Elina Velica present a musical programme inspired by the elegance of Viennese soirées, with arias and duets from Kalman, Lehár, Strauss and Shostakovich. Musical Extravaganza is a monthly project that brings opera and operetta closer to the public, with extensions on the stages of the Philharmonics of Brașov, Pitești, Sibiu and Craiova.
