GRANADA - with tenor ȘTEFAN von KORCH, soprano OANA MARIA ȘERBAN and baritone ALEXANDRU CONSTANTIN

On 23 October 2026, from 7:00 pm, the Teatrul „Constantin Tănase” – Sala Savoy hosts the concert "Granada", part of the Musical Extravaganza season, artistically coordinated by tenor Ștefan von Korch, who will also be the host and master of ceremonies for the evening. He will be joined on stage by soprano Oana Maria Șerban and baritone Alexandru Constantin, accompanied on piano by Alexandru Mihai Burcă. The programme includes the canzonetta "Granada", the Toreador's aria and "Habanera" from Bizet's opera "Carmen", as well as the aria "Olé Torero" from the operetta "Andaluzia", in a classical repertoire concert with Spanish and Mexican accents.

Soprano Oana Maria Șerban made her debut in the role of Rosina in "The Barber of Seville" on the stage of the Romanian National Opera in Bucharest, and in 2025 performed "Elle" in "The Human Voice" and "A Beautiful Indifferent" at the National Operetta and Musical Theatre "Ion Dacian", as well as the role of Miss Honey in the musical "Matilda" at the Comic Opera for Children, awarded at the UNITER Gala. She sang in the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles at the opening of the Paris Olympic Games, performed at the Musikverein in Vienna in the role of Dochița from the operetta "Crai Nou" alongside the Romanian National Opera, and made her debut at the same institution in 2023 in the roles of Olympia ("The Tales of Hoffmann"), Gilda ("Rigoletto") and Susanna ("The Marriage of Figaro").

At the Comic Opera for Children she performs the roles of Rosina, Clorinda, Norina and Adina.

Baritone Alexandru Constantin's repertoire includes roles such as Escamillo in "Carmen", Marcello in "La Bohème", Don Giovanni, Valentin in "Faust", Germont in "La Traviata" and Eugene Onegin, as well as vocal-symphonic works such as Orff's "Carmina Burana" and Fauré's "Requiem". He has given recitals at the Romanian National Opera, the George Enescu Museum, the Oradea Philharmonic and the National Theatre of Bucharest, as well as in projects such as "Shakespeare and Music" and the New Year's Concert of the Calea Victoriei Foundation.
