Discover Carol Park – Guided Tour through Bucharest

On Sunday, 27 September, from 10:30, the Calea Victoriei Foundation is organising a guided tour of Carol Park in Bucharest, led by Ovidiu Neacșu, to mark 120 years since the park's founding, originally known as Dealul Filaret (Filaret Hill). The walk lasts around 1 hour and 45 minutes and recalls the General Exhibition of 1906, organised on the occasion of three important anniversaries, the first major national exhibition in the style of those held in Paris, for which dozens of buildings and pavilions were built.

Of these, only the Vlad Țepeș Tower, the Cuțitul de Argint Church and the Roman Arenas have survived to this day, and the tour will also discuss the buildings that have disappeared and the architects who designed them.
