Aladdin

The musical Aladdin premieres on 1 October 2026, at 6:30 pm, at the Constantin Tănase Theatre of Revue in Bucharest, in a Theater du Soleil Entertainment production. The show, adapted by Sergiu Roban and Petru Schindler, is a live musical in Romanian based on the classic story, with dance, elaborate costumes and sets, and also using 3D virtual reality projection; it runs for 120 minutes, with a 15-minute interval, and is recommended for children aged 6 and over.

The cast includes Tomer Jack Weissbuch/Victor Ion (Aladdin), Sergiu Roban (the Genie), Sofia Ivan/Alina Mirica (Jasmine), Victor Ion/Antonio Morariu (Jafar) and Petru Schindler (Iago), among others, with direction by Sergiu Roban and Elena Nicolau, and music by Alan Menken.
