The VII.Xtra Carp-SBS Top 10 Cup carp fishing competition takes place at BST Balta Sacosu Turcesc, from 5 to 9 October 2026, lasting 96 hours. A maximum of 24 teams are accepted, with an entry fee of 770 euros per team; check-in takes place on Sunday, 4 October, at 15:00, with the draw at 16:00, the competition starting on Monday, 5 October, at 09:00, and finishing on 9 October at 09:00, followed by the award ceremony at 10:30.
Prizes for overall places 1-3 are 4,500, 3,500 and 2,500 euros respectively, plus trophies, with additional prizes for sector placings and for the competition's biggest catch; the rules set strict conditions regarding equipment, permitted baiting techniques and scoring of catches (carp and grass carp of 2 kg and over).
