DESCRIPTION:The Sit+Read Artbook Fair returns to Timișoara for its 8th edi
 tion\, from 23 to 25 October 2026\, at the Comenduirea Garnizoanei (Piața
  Libertății)\, with free admission. The programme runs Friday 2:00pm-8:0
 0pm\, Saturday and Sunday noon-8:00pm\, bringing together artists\, illust
 rators\, independent publishers\, engravers\, designers and DIY collective
 s from Romania and abroad\, with artist books\, zines\, comics\, prints\, 
 exhibitions\, talks with artists\, workshops and book launches. Guests inc
 lude Barbora Mullerová (Lustr Festival\, CZ)\, Hurrikan Press (HU)\, Lena
  Yokoyama (UK) and Maria Surducan (RO)\, alongside dozens of participants 
 from many countries\; workshops led by Hurrikan Press\, Mimi Ciora and Luc
 ian Barbu\, music by Lenhart Tapes\, exhibitions AndNowEast and Local Desi
