The Romanian National Opera in Timișoara presents, on Sunday 27 September, at 18:00, a gala evening of famous pages from opera and ballet. Soloists of the Opera taking part include Narcisa Brumar, Lăcrimioara Cristescu, Crina Vezentan, Cristina Vlaicu, Antonela Barnat, Gabriella Varvari, Cristian Bălășescu, Cosmin Ifrim, Bogdan Zahariea, Mihail Dogotari, George Proca, Cristian Rudic, Gelu Dobrea, Marius Goșa and Octavian Vlaicu, alongside ballet soloists, under the baton of conductor Hermann Szabolcs.
The programme includes excerpts from Il barbiere di Siviglia, Giselle, Norma, Attila, La Bayadère, Carmen, La Bohème, Mefistofele, Rigoletto, Manon Lescaut, Don Pasquale and Tosca, performed by the choir, orchestra and ballet ensemble of the Timișoara Opera. The recommended age is 6+, the show has an interval and ends around 20:00.
