Haneke Retrospective at Ceau, Cinema! and Austrian Culture Days in Timișoara

Between 25 and 27 September, Cinema Studio in Timișoara hosts a retrospective of the first three films by Austrian director Michael Haneke, known as the "Glaciation Trilogy": "The Seventh Continent" (1989), "Benny's Video" (1992) and "71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance" (1994), shown in restored versions and followed by discussions with the audience. The event, titled "Provocative Cinema", is organised by Ceau, Cinema!

(as part of Ceau, Cineclub!), the Austrian Embassy in Bucharest and the Austrian Cultural Forum, also launching the Austrian Culture Days in Timișoara; the project is funded by the Timișoara Municipality through the Project Centre, with Cinema Studio and the Austrian Honorary Consulate as partners and Groupama as sponsor.
