DESCRIPTION:The concert "Rush" by the New York quartet Elevation\, led by p
 ianist Lucian Ban\, takes place on 23 November 2026 at 19:30 (doors from 1
 9:00)\, at the Opera Națională Română Iași\, as part of the new Class
 ix Concerts season. The programme marks the release of the album RUSH\, pu
 blished by Sunnyside Records\, which brings together compositions dedicate
 d to jazz figures such as Abdullah Ibrahim\, Andrew Hill\, Larry Willis an
 d Billy Strayhorn\, alongside a reinterpretation of the Transylvanian song
  "Grangure Pană Gălbană"\, with vocals by Gavril Țărmure. The band co
 nsists of Lucian Ban (piano)\, Abraham Burton (tenor saxophone)\, John Hé
 bert (double bass) and Reggie Nicholson (drums)\; the quartet\, founded in
  New York in 2006\, has released the albums Mystery (2013) and Songs From
