DESCRIPTION:For three days\, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University organises the 1
 5th edition of the "Welcome to UAIC" event\, dedicated to first-year stude
 nts\, so they can discover the university\, their fellow students and the 
 city of Iași. The programme includes information stands about scholarship
 s\, accommodation\, libraries and international mobility\, a welcome packa
 ge with the Student Guide\, guided visits to the "Mihai Eminescu" Central 
 University Library\, city tours\, "Start in Student Life" workshops\, acti
 vities and prizes in "La Balenă" park\, and mentoring meetings with older
  students. The opening ceremony of the 2026–2027 academic year takes pla
 ce on Saturday\, 26 September\, from 11:00 am\, at the "Mihai Eminescu" Au
