SUMMARY:Forensic science workshops
DESCRIPTION:The Iași Forensic Science Club (Clubul de Criminalistică Iaș
 i) is organising practical\, interactive forensic science workshops for sc
 hool and university students\, at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and 
 Environmental Protection in Iași. The beginners' module\, for young peopl
 e over 15\, takes place on 24–25 October\, from 11:00 to 16:30 (10 hours
 ). The group for children aged 12–14 meets on 4 Saturdays\, between 7 an
 d 28 November\, from 11:00 to 13:30 (10 hours).\n\nParticipants learn how 
 to use the forensic kit\, crime scene investigation\, evidence collection\
 , fingerprinting\, crime reconstruction\, analysis of suspicious substance
 s\, basic notions about drugs and DNA separation. The biological samples u
 sed are artificial. The Advanced module investigates new cases. The worksh
 ops develop observation\, logical thinking\, analysis\, synthesis and the 
 ability to argue a case.\n\nThe price is 600 lei (10 hours)\, and the sche
 dule may be adjusted depending on the number of participants. Coordinator:
