On 10 October 2026, at 6:30pm, the Casa de Cultură a Studenților in Iași hosts the premiere of the musical "Aladdin", produced by Theater du Soleil Entertainment, a live Romanian-language adaptation of the classic story, recommended from the age of 6, lasting 120 minutes plus a 15-minute break. The music is by Alan Menken, the script and direction are by Sergiu Roban, Petru Schindler and Elena Nicolau, and the cast includes Tomer Jack Weissbuch/Victor Ion (Aladdin), Sergiu Roban (the Genie), Sofia Ivan/Alina Mirica (Jasmine), Victor Ion/Antonio Morariu (Jafar) and other actors.
