DESCRIPTION:The Cluj-Napoca Art Museum hosts the exhibition "TRANSCEND"\, b
 y painter and restorer Florin Olari\, with the opening on Wednesday\, 16 S
 eptember 2026\, at 6:00 pm\, and the exhibition running from 16 September 
 to 4 October 2026. Curator: Ancuța-Lăcrimioara Chiș\; opening remarks b
 y Hermina Csata (president of UAP Cluj-Napoca)\, Radu Rațiu (vice-preside
 nt of the Cluj County Council) and writer Marius Țion.\n\nThe exhibition 
 offers a journey through the transition between suffering and purification
 \, moving from dark\, textured areas towards luminous compositions\, with 
 elements of Byzantine origin reinterpreted in a contemporary language\; th
 e honeycomb returns as a structuring motif\, a symbol of regeneration and 
 becoming. The opening includes a performance by Vlad Sebastian and Alexand
 ra Nuna.\n\nFlorin Olari (born 5 February 1982) is a painter and restorer 
 authorised by the Romanian Patriarchate\, a member of the Union of Fine Ar
 tists of Romania – Cluj-Napoca Branch\, with theological studies and a d
 octorate in fine and decorative arts\, and the author of the monumental pa
 inting in 17 places of worship\; his doctoral research focused on the symb
 olism of honey and the honeycomb in religious and secular culture.\n\nhttp
