International Baby and Child Remembrance Day (Wave of Light)

On 15 October 2026, the Asociația Există viață după doliu joins the international initiative „Valul de Lumină” (Wave of Light) organised by E.M.M.A., dedicated to remembering babies and children who are no longer with us. The gathering takes place at the association's headquarters, str. Ioan Bianu no. 52, sector 1, with a collective candle-lighting from 6:30 pm; at 7:00 pm all candles are lit and left to burn for an hour, followed between 7:00 and 8:00 pm by a space for gentle conversation, and at 8:00 pm the candles are put out.

Participants are asked to bring a small candle (or they can buy one on site) and to register at forms.gle/aaZi5e4yP7zkQad98, as space is limited; the event is open to anyone who has lost a baby or a child, and the venue is accessible by metro or trolleybus.
