Cheese and Pastrami Festival in Bran - "Răvășitul Oilor" (The Sheep Descent) - 1 day - 26.09.2026

The one-day trip to the Cheese and Pastrami Festival in Bran – "Răvășitul Oilor" (The Sheep Descent) takes place on 26 September 2026, organised by the Happy Trip agency, with meeting at 6:15am at the Timpuri Noi metro station in Bucharest and departure at 6:30am along the Prahova Valley. The event, 50 years old, marks the descent of sheep flocks from the mountains and offers tastings of sheep pastrami, bulz (polenta with cheese and bacon) and cheeses, music and folk traditions, a livestock exhibition and a fair with craftsmen, held near Bran Castle, which participants can visit separately.
