DESCRIPTION:The Centre for European Law Studies of the „Acad. Andrei Răd
 ulescu” Institute of Legal Research of the Romanian Academy\, together w
 ith the International Commercial Arbitration Court attached to the Chamber
  of Commerce and Industry of Romania\, is organising the 10th edition of t
 he conference "Private Law Arbitration in a European Context" on 20 Octobe
 r 2026\, at the headquarters of the Institute of Legal Research. The theme
  is structured around four pillars: the independence\, impartiality\, avai
 lability and competence of the arbitrator\; artificial intelligence and em
 erging technologies in arbitration\; arbitration in ESG disputes\; the eff
 iciency of arbitration from the perspective of procedure\, costs and third
 -party funding\, as well as recent developments in international commercia
 l arbitration. Papers may be submitted until 28 June 2026 (title\, abstrac
 t and keywords\, in Romanian and English) and must be sent in full by 15 S
 eptember 2026\, to mihai.sandru@icj.ro\; acceptance will be notified on 3 
 October\, and the session programme will be published on 5 October. The pa
 pers will be published in the Romanian Journal of European Law\; the confe
 rence is credited with 5 points for doctoral students\, participation with
  a paper is free of charge\, and the event will be held in hybrid format\,
