SUMMARY:Basic Skills in Laparoscopic Surgery
DESCRIPTION:From 28 to 30 September 2026\, the Surgical Training Institute 
 in Bucharest is hosting the intensive workshop "Basic Skills in Laparoscop
 ic Surgery"\, aimed at residents and specialists in general surgery\, gyna
 ecology and urology who want to strengthen their practical skills in lapar
 oscopic surgery. The course directors are Florin Turcu and Bogdan Dumbrav
 ă\, and the programme covers the principles of laparoscopic surgery\, cam
 era navigation\, handling and cutting techniques\, clipping\, endoloop app
 lication\, specimen extraction with an endobag\, needle handling and intra
 corporeal suturing (single-stitch and continuous)\, on models and biologic
 al tissue\, plus the principles of safe pneumoperitoneum and surgical ener
 gy.\n\nThe programme includes theoretical lectures\, video examples\, inte
 ractive discussions\, daily debriefing and assessment of basic laparoscopi
 c skills. It is endorsed by EAES\, held under the auspices of RAES and acc
 redited by the Romanian College of Physicians with 18 CME credits.\n\nThe 
 participation fee is €500 for RAES and EAES members\; places are limited
