the 1920s and from the Surrealist movement. They begin with a short walk
through the exhibition rooms\, where they talk about shape\, colour and co
mposition in the work of artists such as Victor Brauner\, Marcel Iancu and
  M. H. Maxy. Then\, in the workroom\, they create compositions on A3 board
 s using coloured sprays\, sponges\, paints\, everyday objects and autumn l
eaves. The children learn to make original compositions\, to use colour to
express themselves and to use their imagination in art.\n\nThe workshop i
 s part of Unboxing Brâncuși\, a project co-funded by AFCN – Administra
ția Fondului Cultural Național (the National Cultural Fund Administratio
n). The project does not necessarily represent the position of AFCN\, whic
