Street Fishing România is organising the Urban Fishing: Park Challenge on 26 September 2026, at Lacul Morii in Bucharest (including Canalul Roșu and Canalul Argeșel), a local street fishing tournament in Catch&Release format using artificial lures, with main sponsorship from the BigFish shop. The day's schedule includes the technical briefing at 7:00 am, the official roll call at 7:20 am, departure to the track at 7:30 am, the start of the round at 8:00 am, the finish at 4:00 pm and the awards ceremony at 5:00 pm, with the starting point at Anagram Brewery.
People over 18 with a fishing licence may take part, with registration and validation of results done through the ReelIn app; the entry fee is 150 lei, with a payment deadline of 25 September 2026, by bank transfer to the account of the Street Fishing România association (IBAN RO60 RNCB 0304 1504 2777 0001).
